Oh, Brandi. It makes me feel sad just to think about it. Transitions are hard, hard, hard. I forgot when you said she'd be going, and Jonas goes, too, right? Is she excited?

Jonas went last year, but he's not this year. We're going to try homeschool for a year with him.

it's a little tricky, but i'm trying to help both of them be excited about what they're doing, and neither feel like they got the worse option.

betty just goes 6 hours a week, so it's not much at all. but it feels sad, because her days of snuggling up to me all day seem like yesterday!

Awww she looks so adorable! So I never thought I would say this until I was actually a parent, but kids grow up so fast! My little sister started kindergarten last Thursday :[ It seems like my parents were just telling me my mom was having a baby and I was staring at them because that was impossible. Now she's a big girl!

i think dylin has that same backpack. since, as you know, homeschoolers really need backpacks.

She's so big! Did she have a good day?

she did great again today! her teacher described her as "very easy-going," which sounds about right.
